I'm expected to graduate in June 2017 from West Albany High school with an honors diploma. I have completed a total of 8 AP classes and am currently in BC Calculus (the second year) and AP Probability and Statistics. Although math is my strong suit, I also am very adept at teaching study habits for classes that require lots of memorization. I'm heading to OSU in the fall to major in pre-mechanical engineering so I will be able to continue to tutor students in the fall.
Experience
I frequently assist my classmates with their homework, some with basic algebra skills and others with their calculus work. I received 1360 on the new SAT and the Academic Achievement Award Scholarship from OSU. I also an assistant coach for a 14u water polo team which has athletes from 5 to 13 and can effectively teach children of all ages. I also believe math is important and that anyone can learn it, I have answers to the question "when will we use this in real life?" I also feel many students aren't being taught the cool applications math can have and feel like they should all get to experience that.
